Times and Seasons

As we prepare to turn our clocks back and we rush toward the new year, I realize that my Mama was right. The older you get, the faster time flies. How can it be the eve of November already?!?!? This reminds me that time waits for no one.

In Psalm 39:5 the Psalmist writes: "You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure."

Life is precious. Our time here is limited. Every moment is a gift, and what we do with it matters! Let us be people who give thanks for every moment and seek to live in communion with Christ in every season of life.
